Fancy Vivid Blue
Fancy Vivid Blue lab-grown diamonds are cultivated under controlled conditions and display the most intense saturation of blue color. They share the same chemical composition, crystal structure, physical, and optical properties as natural diamonds.
These stones are created using HPHT (High Pressure, High Temperature) or CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) technologies. Their blue color typically results from post-growth treatments such as irradiation and annealing, though in some cases it may form through the incorporation of boron during growth — a less common process.
Once grown, Fancy Vivid Blue diamonds are certified by respected gemological laboratories. Naturally occurring diamonds of this color are extremely rare and are typically priced 70 – 90 % higher than their lab-grown counterparts.
