VS1 (Very Slightly Included 1) diamonds are high-clarity stones, with small internal characteristics that become visible only under 10x magnification. In everyday wear, these inclusions are completely invisible to the naked eye.

Ranked fifth on the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) clarity scale — just below Flawless (FL), Internally Flawless (IF), and Very Very Slightly Included (VVS) — VS1 diamonds typically feature minimal, singular inclusions positioned near the girdle or pavilion, well outside the visible focal point, ensuring optimal light performance.

These diamonds are well-suited to a wide range of cuts, from the timeless Round Brilliant to more complex, open-facet designs. They offer exceptional optical quality while providing a more accessible alternative to higher clarity grades such as VVS, IF, and FL.
